Food and drinks are not included, so bring your favorite snacks, lunches and drinks (no alcohol allowed)
Packing List
A valid BC Fishing license for the day(s) you will be fishing. You must have your fishing license with you before the trip. Get your BC freshwater fishing license online here.
Make sure to dress for the weather. Rain gear; including rain jacket, rain pants, and waterproof boots (rubber boots or Dryshod style boots to stay warm) are recommended in the spring, summer and fall in the Cariboo.
Warm clothes are recommended year round, especially in the fall, winter and spring.
Seasonal Items: Hat or toque (depending on the weather), gloves, UV sun shirt, sunscreen, bug spray
Booking and Cancellation Policy
Booking Policy
A non-refundable 50% deposit is required at the time of booking to secure a specific day. The remaining amount owing is due 30 days prior to the trip. Trips booked 30 days and under prior to a trip are subject to the full amount owing at the time of booking. The full amount owing must be paid before the payment deadlines or the trip will be considered cancelled under the cancellation policy.
Clients who want to re-book the following year will be given priority booking options subject to availability. However, these options expire 30 days after the end of the trip.
Cancellation Policy
Bookings cancelled 30 days or more before the trip will not be refunded the 50% deposit. If the trip was paid in full, a refund on the remaining total of the trip above the 50% deposit will be subject to a 15% administration fee. Subject to availability, the trip may be re-scheduled at the time of cancellation only, and the deposit may be applied to the next trip.
Bookings cancelled between 30 and 14 days before the trip will not be refunded the 50% deposit. Refunds on the remaining total of the trip above the 50% deposit will be subject to a 15% administration fee. Subject to availability, the trip may be re-scheduled at the time of cancellation only, and the deposit may be applied to the next trip.
Bookings cancelled between 14 and 0 days before the trip will not be refunded the 50% deposit or the remaining amount paid on the trip. No refunds will be available. Subject to availability, the trip may be re-scheduled at the time of cancellation only, and the deposit and remaining amount paid may be applied to the next trip.
We understand that life happens and are willing to discuss re-booking options for guests that need to cancel due to unforeseen circumstances.
Waiver Forms
All guests MUST read and sign a liability waiver and Safety and Medical form once booked. There is also a photo, video and social media waiver that we request you sign to be used on our website, social media sites and YouTube Channel. Each person participating must sign a separate form.
Insurance
While our insurance will cover you while you are a guest of ours, it is recommended that you have your own trip cancellation, trip interruption, and medical insurance to be sure you are covered during your travel and in the event of an emergency.
Blow Off Days
Worried about the wind? If the wind keeps us off the lake you booked to fish, we will have a backup plan to get you on the water fishing. We may switch to a smaller, safer lake if needed.
