After our Kokanee Connection today, we went kokanee fishing.
I was finally able to attain the unimaginable, fishing for over 4 hours without bored kids and fishing with kids without a snack bag.
How is this possible you say? Well, thanks to my amazing wife Sarah and her awesome friend Deana, I was able to take the kids fishing in “mini sessions.” I took 2 children fishing at a time and as if I set an alarm I had them back on the lakeshore before a meltdown and picked up the second “fresh batch” of positively charged kids.
This is an impressive way to keep everyone satisfied. I got 4 hours of fishing in and the children got their dose too. They also got to “jump” waves in the boat, play on the beach and find impressive 6 inch leeches.
I’m hoping for round 2 tomorrow…
