A great day on the lake today. I have finally caught a limit of kokanee on Ten Mile Lake thru the ice. Thank you Kevin Hamilton for showing me all the small things I have not been doing.

Kokanee were caught on Williams Wobblers. The large size 90 in hammered bronze and silver caught the most fish. Followed by the smaller bronze and silver flasher. The silver size 90 caught one fish. My rod of choice was an ugly stik which worked great combined with out regular ugly stik/Shakespeare reel we use in the summer. All kokanee were caught on pink jigs as shown, tipped with corn. Most fish were caught on garlic bloody tuna corn. Most fish were caught from 6ft to 18ft. It was a lot of fun sight fishing for kokanee when the bite turned on. I even caught one hand lining. Hopefully we got some great video footage to share later. Now all I need is time and more experience surrounded by family and friends. A great day to go kokanee fishing. Can’t wait for tomorrow.
