Date night #2!!! Did I ever say my wife is awesome? We had a romantic sit down dinner at A&W with ice cream cones for dessert before hitting the lake.

We went to Ten Mile without the kids tonight and each caught our limit of fish. We tried numerous combinations and different parts of the lake. We found a small school and took a few out of the class. We later found where all the bigger fish were after switching to larger gear hoping to catch some bigger fish.

Bigger dodgers and lures caught 5 out of 6 larger fish. The smaller fish and one larger fish were caught on the small sling blade and wedding bands. 4 out of 5 of the lager fish were caught on the chartreuse Apex trailing behind a chartreuse Gibbs dog tail dodger. The other large fish was caught on the tried and true chartreuse/orange Kokabow dodger with a pink P-Line hoochie and a large Moon Jelly Mack’s smile blade.

All kokanee tonight were caught on our kokanee corn which we still haven’t put in the fridge (it did not smell fresh tonight as the first day, but it worked really well). We are testing how long our corn will last out of the fridge and so far it’s been almost 2 weeks.

Another great kokanee adventure. I’ll be back Monday morning!

Stay tuned for our kokanee clips on reeling in some of these nice fish.
