Well that was interesting. 
I used to have issues with my old hand me down ice tent, but not this bad. Recently, my tent started being difficult to open and the hubs would pop back in when trying to open them. Yesterday, I tried to open my tent to dry it out and struggled with it. Somehow (like how fishing line forms a birds nest) one of my hubs folded over and came out the window of the tent.
Like a Rubik’s cube, I tried moving all the moving parts to get everything to line up again. Unfortunately, I was not able to solve the problem without cheating. Like removing the stickers on an old Rubik’s cube and placing them back on the cube, I had to break down and remove the poles from the tent slots and then open a hub to get everything back together. On a side note, I found a broken tent peg. This explains why I had issues with one of my pegs on the ice. The peg actually broke.
Who else has had hub shelter issues like this? How did you solve the issue?
