A few nice ones were caught again today thanks to a gold Kamlooper spoon and a Gibbs Fishing copper croc. Many other fish were caught and lost during the morning, but most were caught in the first two hours of the day. It’s exciting to see the big ones are still around and have just been hiding and waiting for cooler water temperatures to feed in the shallows. Surface temperature was 54 degrees today and the lake appears to be turning. The wind storm we had all day yesterday on the lake seems to have helped the process. Won’t be long now until the main feeding frenzy happens before the ice comes.
