Fishing was slow to start this morning, but once we found where the fish were feeding it was game on.

We tried trolling a Fishinator Lures plug on one rod and a dog tail dodger and gypsy spoon on the other, but had no luck. We even tried casting Gibbs crocs and coho spoons with no takers.

The winning combination today was a Gibbs Fishing Coho spoon on one rod and a Kamlooper spoon on another rod. The only way we could get fish to commit was to troll these spoons 125 to 150ft behind the boat. Our trolling speed ranged from 2mph to 2.5mph.

I’m excited to see how the fall fishery on Dragon is this year. We caught a few nice ones that did not make it into the photos as well.
